Four Places to use your Branding Style Board
You finally have your new cohesive branding style board, but now what do you do with it? I’ll tell you! Here are four places you can, and should, be implementing your new branding board.
You have a fresh, polished brand and what better way to display it than by physically holding it in your hand- I’m talking stationary’s, business cards, brochures, signage, etc. Now that you have the brand style resources, it’s time to put them into action.
To start off, Moo is a great place to order business cards. While they may be a tad more expensive than the other options out there, with their exceptional quality you’ll be sure to get your moneys worth.
THE SOCIAL MEDIAS
Any and all forms of social media should be updated to reflect your brand.
Not only that, but also update profile pictures, logos, and graphic elements to remain consistent throughout all platforms. This ensures visitors that they’ve reached you. Content, however, should vary. No one wants to see the same posts on all social platforms- just keep the style cohesive using your branding guidelines!
THE “YOU’VE GOT MAIL”
When someone receives an email from your business, you want them to know who it's coming from. Incorporating your brand style into emails will do just that.
Ensure that your signature is displaying your name, company name, and branding elements if possible. Although you may not have the option to choose your exact brand font, choose a font that is similar to your branding style guide.
And of course...
THE WORLD WIDE WEB
This should be screaming “your brand” from every inch of the page.
A few weeks back I had recommended a store to a friend. The first thing she said was, “Oh thanks, I’ll definitely look them up”. We live in a world that revolves around what we see online, and we can’t un-see what we’ve seen. So make sure what you’re displaying is what you want to be seen!
It is absolutely CRUCIAL that your brand is tastefully and cohesively visible across your web page. Don’t have a webpage to display your new brand? Not to worry, I can help you with that!
So there you have it, everywhere you can and should be implementing the elements on your branding board. Now get to it!
